First Steps

Lyla took her first steps on January 31st! She surprised us all right before bed time and walked between us a few times! Of course, since that night she hasn't really been all that interested, but I'm sure we'll have a walker soon...which is a good thing because she is getting heavy!!

24 week appt

Had a good 24 week visit on Monday. All looks well. My belly is measuring about 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule, but I guess that's pretty normal with the 3rd:) I am feeling pretty well, just really tired these days, not sure if that's from being 6 months pregnant or chasing two kids around or the insomnia that has started already!

Outside fun

We have had a pretty nice January in Denver and have enjoyed getting outside and playing at the park!

Bill's birthday

We celebrated Bill's birthday on Jan 25th. We made him a tie dye cake, which Andersen loved making and decorating.

Lyla 11 months!

Lyla was 11 months on January 18th! Hard to believe next month we will be celebrating her 1st birthday! She is a happy baby girl, loves playing with her sister and Norlina and being outside! We have had some mild beautiful days and Lyla loves being out and pushing her walking toys or riding in the cozy coupe. She still only has 3 bottom teeth, down to just 2 bottles a day, 2 naps a day, eats pretty much anything that's not baby food, and finally does a normal crawl! Still no walking, but she's cruising, just can't get the courage to let go yet. She also discovered the stairs, and like her big sister, stands at the gate and cries to go up!

20 weeks

We made it to the half way point - YAY!! I had my 20 week ultrasound on Monday and everything looks great! It's still a boy, yes I made her double check;) I'm measuring big, but that's normal. He weighs approx 13oz and his heartbeat was 142. I am feeling pretty well too. He didn't cooperate very well during the ultrasound, so we weren't able to really see his face or profile...he seems to like to press his face into my right hip:( Hopefully we'll be able to have an ultrasound later in the pregnancy and get a better look!

Play Date at the Park

We had a park playdate with good friends while in Florida and we managed to get all the kiddos in a photo! It was fun to get all the kids together:) My how things have changed in the last few years and next year there will be even more kids in the picture!!
