Andersen's first soccer practice

Andersen had her first soccer practice last week. She goes on Saturday mornings with Daddy. She loves her uniform and wants to wear it all day long!

Lyla is one month old!!

It is very hard to believe that it has already been a month, time flies! Lyla is a sweet sweet baby and just loves to be held and cuddled. She is sleeping a lot, but makes sure to wake up at the exact 3 hour mark for a feeding. She just started going 4 hours between feedings at night, which is really nice. She unfortunately seems to have acid reflux like her big sis, so we started zantac on Friday and hope that it helps. She is already 10lbs 3oz, which impressed the doctor, she's jumped to the 95% for weight in two short weeks since her last visit. Needless to say, she's a good eater! We are enjoying have two children and Andersen really loves helping out with her little sister:) We feel extremely blessed to have such beautiful healthy & happy girls!

First Bath

Lyla had her first real bath yesterday after all of her cord fell off. She actually really liked it and was sooo relaxed that she pooped, not once but twice! Not sure what is about my girls, but they love to poop in the bath!

It's a GIRL!!!

We welcomed another beautiful baby girl, Lyla Grace, on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 2:12pm. She was 8lbs.4oz and 19" long. I was induced and once I started having contractions, she came pretty fast! She has been such a great baby so far, eating like a champ and going 3+ hours between feedings. Unfortunately, we have all been sick and Lyla now has a cold & cough, which is so sad, but she's being a trooper! Andersen is enjoying being a big sister! She took a while to warm up to Lyla, but now wants to help when she cries or when we change her diaper, etc. We went for Lyla's 2 week check up today and all looks great (besides the cold!) She is now 8lbs 11oz (65%) and 20 1/2" (50%) and her head is 14 1/4" (60%). We are so excited to have another girl and cannot wait for them to grow up to be best friends & sisters!
