Disney

We had a WONDERFUL trip to Disney World! Andersen was in heaven! She loves all the Disney princesses and was in awe that she was able to meet them in real life! She loved riding the rides, especially the roller coaster! We also had lunch with the princesses in Cinderellas castle:) It was a great day! We arrived at the park at 8AM and left at 3:30pm - she was asleep before we hit the interstate!!

High Fives for Santa

We went to another brunch with Santa at our neighborhood beer garden and the girls were still not so sure what to think of him. They didn't want to sit in his lap, but Andersen decided it was okay to give him a high five!

Lyla Grace is 10 Months Old!

Lyla is 10 months old! I cannot believe in just a couple of months we will be celebrating her first birthday! She is an active little girl and wants to be on the move constantly. She is cruising on furniture, walking while holding your hands and pushing her walking toy. I keep thinking any day now she'll be walking on her own! She's blabbing a ton and sometimes we think she says Mamama, especially when she's in her crib wanting up! She likes to play with Andersen and loves to steal Andersen's food:) Andersen is constantly saying "Swiper no Swipey" which is a reference to a character on the show Dora for those of you that don't have the pleasure of watching kids shows:)This month the photos were rather challenging to get.

Baby # 3 is on the way!

Yes, you are reading that right, I am pregnant with # 3!! It was quite a surprise, but we are absolutely thrilled! I am due May, 18, 2013. This time around we decided to find out the sex and my doctor was sweet enough to do a gender ultrasound at my 16 week check up. We are super excited to announce that we are having a baby BOY!! Lyla and baby 3 will be 15 months apart! Our life is about to get even crazier with 3 kiddos 3 and under:)

Brunch with Santa

Last Sunday we went to brunch with Santa. Andersen insisted on wearing her red princess dress as she calls it! She was shy around Santa, which was a bit surprising since she talks about him constantly. It was a fun morning and she of course loved having her CharChar otherwise know as her bestfriend there as well!

Making Ornaments

We made ornaments this year. They came out pretty well and Andersen loved rolling the dough & painting them:)

Decorating the Christmas Tree

We had a great time decorating the tree this year! Andersen loved going and picking out the tree (we were shooting for a small tree and ended up with a 7 footer!) and had a blast hanging ornaments. She announced that she would like to keep the tree up forever because it is sooo pretty!

Dallas

We went to Dallas for Thanksgiving this year. It was great getting together with the entire Sparks/Edwards family and fun to see all the cousins together:) We also celebrated Granny's 85th birthday! Andersen and Lyla did pretty well, but were a little overwhelmed at times meeting all the new family (hence the photo of both girls screaming with Granny). The cousins also did a Christmas gift exchange since we won't be together this year. It was fun to see all ten kiddos open gifts! We are already looking forward to our next visit with the Sparks, Sather, Hussar, & Edwards families:)

9 Months Old!

Lyla turned 9 months on November 18, 2012. She continues to be a pretty happy baby girl! She is crawling all over the place, it's quite a unique crawl, kinda like an earth worm! She is over baby food and prefers finger foods and she's down to 3 bottles a day:) She has 3 teeth, all on the bottom. She is pulling up and cruising on the furniture and tables and will even try to walk with her walker. She had a great visit to the doctor and continues to be a large baby! She weighed 21 lb 10 oz (90%), 29 1/2" tall (95%) and her head was 18 1/4" (96%) at least she's proportional:) She loves Andersen and wants to do everything she does, it's really cute, although sometimes Andersen is not too impressed! It is hard to believe how quick these months are going by, I can't believe she's 9 months!
