Lyla's Play Mat
Not quite sure why Andersen and her friends like the play mat so much, but they do. They also want to sit in the bumbo and the exersaucer!
Baby Food!!
Lyla started baby food! It took her a bit to like it, but now she LOVES it! Her favorite so far is green peas, but we've tried sweet potatoes, avocado and bananas. She is a messy eater and really likes putting her hands in her mouth while the food is in there. Andersen also enjoys helping, which usually results in a bigger mess as well, but it's fun to have her involved:)
On a side note, we had the xrays done for Miss Lyla's extra fat roll, and everything came back fine. Her pelvis is slightly turned on her right side, but there is not anything to do and she should be just fine once she starts moving and losing some of the rolls!
Pigtails!!
Andersen finally has hair long enough for pigtails!! Now if only she would keep the rubber bands/clips/bows in her hair.....
Lemons
Andersen was whining and begging to eat half of a lemon one day, I gave in thinking she would hate it and realize there was a reason I was saying no...but for some reason she seemed to enjoy it. I finally took it away when she started eating the rind as well. Not sure if she was just proving her point or actually likes lemon juice that much!
Georgetown Train Ride
Andersen has a thing for trains these days, so we decided to drive up to Georgetown one Sunday and take a train ride. She thought it was the coolest thing ever and talks about it often.
Sprinkler Fun
It's been hot in Denver, so Andersen has enjoyed playing with her sprinkler to cool off!
