Berry Patch Farms

Today we went with our playgroup to Berry Patch Farms to pick raspberries. We had a great time on the farm and Andersen enjoyed eating the fresh berries. She also enjoyed looking at the farm animals, especially Bacon Bits the pig!

Go Ole Miss!

Ear Tubes

Andersen had to get tubes in her ears this week. She has had 8 ear infections in 8 months and the pediatric ENT said she recommends them when a child has 4-6 in a 12 month period - so A was due. We were of course worried about her being put under, but Andersen did really well. Bill was able to go back with her as they put her to sleep and then the entire surgery only took 15 minutes. Hardly enough time for us to worry. She also, woke up fast, so we were back in recovery with her about 5 minutes after the surgery ended and they released us 45 minutes later. She was a little wobbly and lacked balance for most of the day, but woke up the next day as good as new:) Fingers crossed the tubes work!

Petting Zoo & 1st Train Ride

While Grammie was in town, we went back to Belleview park to see the animals in the petting zoo. Andersen was a little apprehensive of the animals this time, especially the chickens which seemed to keep following us around. Penelope the pig, really wanted Andersen to pet her, but Andersen was too scared:( We also rode the train at the park. Andersen really enjoyed it and didn't want to get off the train.

Kitchen

Andersen got a new kitchen from our trip to the brand new Ikea store! She fell in love with it at the store and was so excited to wake up and have it in her house! She makes us all wash our hands constantly and she even washes her animals & dolls hands. She also enjoys cooking veggies and feeding them to us and her animals & dolls. It is really fun to see her start imaginative play:)

Hair

Andersen is starting to get some hair, unfortunately it is coming in in one strip on the back of her head so it has the appearance of a mullet. You may think I'm over exaggerating, but we were in Starbucks yesterday and a complete stranger came up to us and said I love the mullet! HAHA:) Now, the only question is, do I cut it or embrace it?!? :)

Headband

Andersen dressed up the other day and actually kept her cute head band on...we had to take a photo:)
