Halloween

We had a great Halloween! Andersen dressed up as Foofa a character from her favorite show, Yo Gabba Gabba. We walked up to our neighborhood parade, but Andersen prefered to run around the field instead of walking with the group. Mimi stayed in town and helped us pass out over 1000 pieces of candy. She kept track of the # of kids and said we had 585! Andersen enjoyed going to a few neighbors homes and really liked the m&m's and smarties. She stayed up late (7:15) and really liked watching all the trick-or-treaters and running around the front yard. It was a fun evening!

Pumpkin carving

We carved pumpkins the day before Halloween. I thought Andersen would be more into it, but she could have cared less. She just wanted to dance!

Lowry Fall Fest

Our neighborhood had a fall festival in the town center Halloween weekend. Andersen discovered the joys of trick-or-treating (CANDY!) and had so much fun riding the little train. Her bestie Charlie came alone too! We were lucky to have Mimi & Poppi in town as well! It was a really fun evening!!

First Snow Fall

We had our first snow of the season right before Halloween. Andersen was a little unsure of it, but intrigued at the same time. She only wanted to stay outside for a couple of minutes and sometimes got scared if she walked in it. But she touched it a couple of times, so we'll see how it goes....it is something she'll have to get use to living in Denver!

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to a pumpkin patch with our playgroup. It was a beautiful farm with a view of the mountains in the background. Andersen was not thrilled picking out the pumpkins, but she warmed up! We ended up picking out 4 pumpkins and then headed to the farm to look at the animals. It was a nice day!

Trying out Andersen's Halloween Costume

Andersen is obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba, so naturally for Halloween I decided to dress her up as one of the characters, FOOFA. She has been really scared of the costume and has not wanted to really wear it, especially the hat. Today, I finally got her to try on the costume and hat! Here's a little Halloween preview:)
