We have had a great couple of weeks at home with Davis. We are slowly starting to get into a rhythm. He hates to be swaddled, so he's not sleeping great at night, but it's getting better! The girls love playing with him and love playing with all of his toys! At his 2 week appointment he weighed 8lbs 13 oz (50%) and was 21 1/2" (75%). We had a great appointment and he's a healthy boy. We don't go back again till 2 months!
Davis Edwards arrived on Tuesday, May 14th at 3:01pm. He weighed 8lbs 6oz and was 20 1/2" long. My delivery went well, I was set to be induced but arrived at the hospital and started having contractions. I had to wait on a room, so they didn't even hook me up to Pitocin till after 11:30 and once it was time to push, he arrived after one push:) I was lucky to have another easy delivery! Davis is a sweet baby and we feel so blessed to have him in our lives. Both sets of grandparents made it in town for the delivery and the girls are being awesome big sisters! We are so in love with our baby boy and our beautiful family of 5!!!!
Andersen turned 3 on May 8th. She had a great day which started with sprinkle cinnamon rolls, followed by a pizza party and cupcakes at school and ending with Chuck E Cheese and more cupcakes at home! May 8th is also Gigi's birthday and we were lucky enough to have her in town to celebrate with us! At her 3 year check up she weighed 36 1/2 lbs (90%) and was 38 3/4" tall (90%).
We have really enjoyed our new swing set! The girls love playing and swinging! Our back yard is turning into quite the kid playground!
Andersen decided she wanted a small party with her best friends for her birthday, so we went to Monkey Bizness with Charlie & Levi and then pizza and cupcakes for dessert! It was the perfect size and place for her to start the birthday celebrations!
Andersen does not like to wear her hair up or have anything in it, I wish she would let me pull it back more because she looks so cute and grown up when it's pulled back!
