Dancing

Andersen LOVES to dance! We finally got her moves on video. Yes, she is topless, and yes, Bill did post her up on a barstool. Here's the link to her rocking out to Katy Perry:)

Walking

Andersen started "walking" this week. I got really excited because I assumed when she took multiple steps in a row over one day that she would wake up and do the same thing, if not more. Well, not so much. She is still doing little bits, but we are not full fledged walking. She is getting braver, but still gets scared to take steps sometimes. She did walk all around Target today, sometimes on her own and sometimes holding one of my hands. It was a slow Target run, but she was just so excited to see and play with everything at her level! I was able to capture some of her first steps on video. This is from the first day, Wednesday, May 4th. She has gotten better, but this gives you a glimpse:)

Easter

We had a nice Easter, it would have been better if the weather had cooperated, but unfortunately it is always cold in Denver on Easter and either rains or snows. Andersen enjoyed her Easter basket! The Easter Bunny brought a music set and chicks filled with puffs:) We went to brunch at the Sumners house and hunted for Easter eggs. And yes, Andersen is wearing snowman pjs on Easter morning!

First boo-boo

Andersen is quick these days and proved that last Saturday when in a moment tripped and skinned her nose on the concrete outside.

Cozy Coupe

Mimi & Poppi gave Andersen a cozy coupe for her birthday and she LOVES it! Every time we go to the garage she points at it and wants to go for a ride, it is too cute. Yesterday Norlina even pulled her in the coupe to the mailbox! Thanks Mimi & Poppi!

Children's Museum

We went to the Children's Museum with one of Andersen's friends Burke. The kids enjoyed exploring and crawling around the toddler area. Andersen especially liked the garden.

11 months

Today Andersen is 11 months old! My how time flies. Everyone tells you that it goes so quickly and at the beginning you don't believe it, but then all of a sudden your baby is a month away from turing 1! Andersen has had a rough 10th month - she's been sick 2 out of the 4 weeks and is getting in her 4 top front teeth all at the same time:( We are hoping this month will be much healthier! She is an active little girl, constantly crawling, walking with her push walker, climbing the stairs etc. She loves to eat and still prefers veggies and fruits to almost everything else. It is hard to imagine this time next month we'll be celebrating her first birthday!
